Americans now hold the top spot on the list of the world’s richest people released last July. Among them are the owners of the world’s largest companies, such as Amazon, Tesla, Microsoft, Facebook, and Google, as well as super investor Warren Buffett. Of the 10 richest people in the world, only two are non-Americans. One of them is Bernard Arnault, the owner of L.V.M.G, the world’s leading luxury goods company. A Frenchman, he was ranked third on the list. The only non-American Asian person there is “Mukesh Ambani” in 10th place. “Mukesh Ambani”, an Indian national, has been on the list for a long time. At one time he became the 4th richest man in the world. Although he had some competition from the Chinese “Jack Ma”, the founder of the Alibaba Group, a dispute with the Chinese government later led to a major collapse of his companies. So “Mukesh Ambani” is still the richest man in Asia
(1) Reliance Industries Limited, the largest company in India.
In 1966, a man named Dhirubhai Ambani started a small textile business called Reliance Industries. After it gradually developed, he became quite wealthy and admitted his own son “Mukesh Ambani” to Stanford University in California, USA. But a year later, Mukesh left it and returned to India to start his own polyester factory. At the same time, he became the director of his father’s factory. Throughout the 1990s, in addition to these polyesters, “Mukesh Ambani” set out to build a number of sub-factories in crude oil and to buy other factories. Later, “Reliance Industries” focused on all sectors, including communication services and textiles. It is because of these factors that India was able to become one of the super-rich in the 2000s. However, “Mukesh Ambani” currently holds 8% of the total market in India.
(2) The owner of the most valuable home in the world.
Many of the world’s richest people are known for living very simple lives. This is especially true of the way Americans dress, especially among the super-rich. Everyone, especially “Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Bill Gates”, loves to dress casually. Indian national, however
“Mukesh Ambani” likes to spend and show off his wealth.
In 2008, he spent over a billion dollars to build a massive 27-story building as his home. Built-in the most expensive area of land in the capital city of Mumbai, it has a six-story garage just for parking. Its total land area is over 400,000 square feet or over 9 acres. About 600 people have been employed for various activities in this house with 3 helicopter yards. Apart from the palaces and official residences built for kings and rulers in the history of the world, the “Antilia” mansion of “Mukesh Ambani” is one of the most expensive houses ever built by an ordinary citizen.
